Description:
Corporal Archibald Mosley was born in Carbondale, Illinois, and joined the Corps in 1943. With the 36th Depot Company, he participated in the invasion of Iwo Jima and served in Guam and occupied Japan. Leaving the Corps after World War II, he entered Payne Theological Seminary at Wilberforce University, became a Methodist minister, and enjoyed a long career. Retired, he resides in Pontiac, Michigan.
